Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) …

Welcome to recipesdar (“the Site”). We are committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c), copyright owners or their authorized representatives may submit takedown notices to us through our designated DMCA Agent listed below. As an online service provider, we are entitled to claim immunity from infringement claims under the DMCA’s “safe harbor” provisions.

Notice of Infringement – Claim

To submit a valid infringement claim, you must send us a written notice that includes the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or an individual authorized to act on behalf of the owner);
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  3. Identification of the infringing material to be removed, along with information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate the material (e.g., the URL of the specific page);
  4. Contact information sufficient for us to reach you, including your name, physical address, email address, and phone number;
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Important: Title 17 USC §512(f) imposes penalties, including court costs and attorney fees, on individuals who knowingly and materially misrepresent information in a DMCA notification of infringement.

Please submit all takedown notices through our Contact Page or email us directly for prompt attention.

Note: By submitting a claim, you consent to having your identity and the details of your claim shared with the alleged infringer.

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you believe that material was removed in error or due to a misidentification, you may submit a counter notification. The counter notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. A description of the material that was removed and its original location before removal;
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to a mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, physical address, and phone number, along with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or any judicial district in which the service provider may be found if you are outside the United States) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original infringement claim.

Please submit your counter notification through our Contact Page or via email.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We take copyright infringement seriously and maintain a record of DMCA notices. Accounts of users identified as repeat infringers will be terminated as required under the DMCA.
